Often times live bed bugs are easily visible in their adult form. They are approximately the size of a pencil eraser, red to brown in color, and resemble a flat oval in shape.

Fecal Matter & Blood Spots

Fecal spotting tends to appear not as red blood but instead as dark, black stains or smears from the digested blood that has been excreted. Remember, the bed bugs are feeding on you!
